Do you offer same-day, emergency, or after-hours service?
Yes, we offer same-day, emergency, and after-hours repair services. If you're dealing with an urgent issue, we can prioritize your service request. We also offer evening appointments for customers who cannot be home during regular hours. Please note that these services incur an additional fee and are subject to availability. We’ll inform you of any extra charges upfront when you book your service.

How quickly will you respond to an emergency
We aim to respond to emergency service requests within 2 hours, depending on location and availability. After-hours and emergency bookings are available, and we prioritize urgent requests to get your appliance back in working order as quickly as possible. Please note that after-hours bookings will incur an additional fee.

How do I book a repair service?
Booking a repair service is easy! You can either call us directly at 0424 833 897, send us an email at office@profixappliancesqld.com, or use our convenient online booking system on our website. Just let us know the appliance, issue, and preferred service time, and we’ll take care of the rest.

What are your service areas?
We are based in Jimboomba and service Logan City, Beaudesert, Southern Brisbane, Kooralbyn, and the Tamborine Mountains. If you're unsure whether we cover your area, feel free to contact us, and we’ll let you know!

What are your operating hours?
Our regular hours of operation are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We also offer after-hours emergency service by appointment. Let us know if you need assistance outside of regular hours!

Are there additional fees for after-hours service?
Yes, after-hours service bookings, including evenings and weekends, will incur an additional fee based on the time of service. The fee varies depending on the timing and urgency of the request. We’ll provide a detailed breakdown of the fees during the booking process, so you know exactly what to expect.

How much do your repair services cost?
Our pricing is very upfront to ensure you know exactly what to expect. We charge a $165 call-out fee, which includes travel, diagnosis, and a detailed quote for parts and labour. For onsite repairs, our labour and call-out fees are capped at $250 (including GST), and any parts required will be additional. We’ll always provide you with a clear breakdown of the costs before proceeding with any repairs.

How can I prepare for my repair appointment?
To ensure a smooth and quick repair process, please make sure your appliance is easily accessible. If you have a clothes dryer, please move it to the ground for easier access. If you have pets or dogs, we recommend putting them away for safety during the service. While it’s not necessary to unplug the appliance, these steps will help us get started right away.

Do you provide a warranty on repairs?
Yes, we offer a warranty on all our repair services. We provide a 6-month warranty on call-out and labour, and a 12-month warranty on parts. This ensures you have peace of mind knowing that if any issues arise, we’ll take care of it at no extra cost.

What if my appliance is beyond repair?
If we determine that your appliance is beyond repair or too costly to fix, we’ll provide you with honest advice on the best course of action. In some cases, we may recommend replacing the appliance with a more energy-efficient model or help you find a suitable replacement.

How do I pay for my repair?
We accept payment upon completion of the repair. We offer several convenient payment options, including credit and debit cards, tap and pay with your phone, and over-the-phone card payments. If you have an account with us, payment must be authorized prior to the service. We strive to make the payment process as easy as possible so you can focus on getting your appliance fixed!
